50-22 is a 2003 Freightliner/Ferrara Engine.  50-22 is equipped with a 750 gal. tank, with the capability of pushing 2,000 gallons per minute.  At first glance 50-22 looks like a regular engine, but is actually a water supply unit, featuring 2,000' of 5" LDH transported on a reel at the rear of the apparatus.  50-22 primarily used as water supply to refill other apparatus, but is equipped with 20 gallons of foam for use on car fires.  This truck is also known for being the first apparatus to be equipped with LDH in New York State!
